Tackling eye Vision problems with exercises

Eyes are in constant use for mankind. People working day in and day out require eyes every moment. Eyes tend to get tired and show problems after certain age and time. Visiting a optometrist on monthly basis can keep a person well about his eye condition. Eye vision problems can be experienced by people of any age. Young children are also coming across many problems. Work schedules have become more long and stressful than before making a person strain his eyes for long time. Vision disorders must never be neglected and must be taken care off immediately to avoid serious results.

Interesting eye exercises

Provide care and relaxation to eyes with some effective eye exercises. Such exercises are easy to do and can be done anytime and at any place.


This exercise is very helpful for strained out eyes. One has to put his middle portion of the palm on the eyes. Space must be left to provide the eyes space for easy blinking. The eyes must be opened and closed at regular intervals after every 60 seconds. Care must be taken not to provide pressure on the eyeballs while covering the yes with the palm portion.

Eye movement

This particular exercise is recommended by most doctors. One must attempt to this everyday for 3 to 4 times for improving eye vision problems. The person must first look at a particular point and then move the eyes in left, top, right and bottom direction of the fixed point. This should be repeated in anti clockwise direction in the same way. Great help is provided to the peripheral vision.


One can practice blinking constantly for about 2 minutes and then keep intervals of 3 or 4 minutes before regular blinking again. Wonderful relief is provided to eyes with such exercise and one's concentration level can be increased.

one can imagine 8 figure in front of his eyes about 10 or 15 feet away. He then has to rotate his vision all across the 8 in one direction followed by another direction. Eye muscles can be worked greatly with such amazing exercise.

Thumb exercise

This exercise is very important in making the muscles of the eye work nicely and improves the concentration of the person. The rule of this exercise is to stretch one hand and then place the thumb of the hand on the eyes accompanied with deep breathing. The next step is to look straight on some object straight that is lying about 10 or 15 feet away.


This exercise is very essential for most of the people having vision disorders. Yoga suggests this particular exercise of looking at a particular object for long time and meditating on it. The person must forget all distractions and keep looking at it for long time. One must keep staring at the thing about 3 or 4 feet away from him and make sure he continues to imagine it after it being removed from that place. Concentration power can be enhanced with good exercise to the eye parts.
